Our Pavement Design Specialist, Andrew Laatz, was requested by one of SANRAL’s Project Coordinators to make a technical presentation at the Concrete Society of Southern Africa, KwaZulu-Natal branch.
“Jointing Design Considerations When Widening Concrete Pavements With Focus On Continuously Reinforced Concrete Pavements” is based on Andrew’s research coupled with extensive experience at HHO Consulting Engineers, within the area of assessment, design, documentation and construction supervision of concrete pavements in South Africa.
Amongst the audience were structural engineers, pavement engineers and suppliers to the concrete construction industry. The quaint Royal Durban Golf Club was the chosen venue for this workshop held on 12 September 2019.
