On the 20th of April 2024, HHO among other institutions and service providers participated in a high school career expo held at Fezeka Secondary School in Gugulethu, organised by Grace Bible Church Cape Town.
The event attracted over 800 students from various high schools in and around Gugulethu.
The primary goal of the organisers was to offer a platform for sharing educational resources with students who my not have had access to them otherwise, aiming to empower young people to transform their lives.
At the expo, HHO showcased its various project involvements in providing engineering solutions, and provided information about bursaries, vacation work, and career opportunities for students seeeking to pursue careers in civil engineering. To add some excitement to the event, HHo representatives hosted a building competition for the student, with goodies awarder to the winners.
