At HHO, we are able to carry out the full scope of services for engineering projects. We get involved from the onset, often assisting our clients in identifying a need for infrastructure, carrying out feasibility studies and undertaking the conceptual, preliminary and detailed designs. We assist our clients in the procurement of suitable contractors and undertake Construction and Contract Administration during implementation.
Our services have been used on conventional Engineering, Procurement and Construction Management (EPCM) type contracts, on Design and Construct (D&C) type contracts as well as Private Public Partnership (PPP) type contracts.
We have an extensive track record of delivering quality infrastructure for various clients and for the benefit of the community that they serve.
HHO supervised the construction activities and the administration of the contract. This involved running a site laboratory to ensure quality control of the road construction activities. The drilling, blasting and crushing of various cuttings of up to 40 m high, provided aggregates for the construction of the road layer works.
In addition to undertaking the design, documentation and tender of this project, HHO undertook the contract administration of the project construction activities, which included road widening and rehabilitation, the widening of bridge structures and installation of future interchange piled supports.
HHO undertook the documentation, as well as the construction and contract administration. The project involved the construction of two directional ramps as a third level to the interchange, and had to be undertaken under existing heavy traffic conditions, the 40 m U-beams being launched at night.
